Welcome! Venus Rising Designs offers you jewelry and other artwork, lovingly handcrafted for you to enjoy for many years to come.
My jewelry is made with a variety of styles and materials. I don't have a particular style and don't usually plan or draw my pieces. I often have a vague idea of what I want to make, but just as often start playing with my beads and suddenly a wonderful idea pops up and I follow it!
I love to use semi-precious gemstones, genuine Swarovski® crystals, vintage and artisan lampwork beads, freshwater pearls, and Czech and Indian glass.
I primarily use gold-filled and sterling silver, but you will also find copper or other metals incorporated in some pieces.
Are you allergic to metals? Email me when you buy a pair of earrings, and I can switch the earwires to simple, nonallergenic materials at no extra charge.
You will also find beautiful suncatchers made with genuine Swarovski crystals. They are dazzling in the sunlight!
