How quickly do you ship out orders? TOP

 
I am committed to processing your order as soon as possible, usually within 2-4 business days.  I have no control over the postal carriers, so please allow 10-14 business days for arrival.
 
If you need your order sooner, please call me or send an email *before* you order, and we can discuss your options. 
 

What forms of payment do you accept? TOP

 
I accept payment directly through my website with Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express using Paypal, as well as directly through Paypal only.  I currently only ship within the United States and to Canada!
 
United States and Canada Customers:  If you prefer not to buy online via credit card, I can accept money orders and cashiers checks.  I do not accept personal checks.  Please email me if you want to pay with a money order or cashiers check.  If there is a delay between your email and my receiving your payment, please contact me.  I will do my best to accommodate you but cannot reserve an item for you indefinitely.  
 
   
 

Is my credit card data secure with you? TOP

 
Yes, I use a secure shopping cart called Mal's e-commerce, which collects your data.  Then payment is sent through Paypal.

What are your shipping fees? TOP

 
I do my best to ensure that your order arrives safely.  Your purchases will be carefully packaged.  Items are shipped with bubble wrap and tissue paper for earrings and suncatchers, and gift boxes for bracelets and necklaces.  I also include my business card and a copy of your order invoice.
 
Standard Low Flat Rate includes Insurance and Delivery Confirmation (required).  All payments must be made in United States Dollars (USD).

$5.95 - USPS First Class Mail with Insurance up to $100 and Delivery Confirmation
$7.65 - USPS Priority Mail with Insurance up to $100 and Delivery Confirmation
 
Additional insurance will be provided for orders over $100
 
Canada: 
 
$19.05 USD - USPS Global Priority Mail with Insurance up to $100 USD
 
Additional insurance will be provided for orders over $100 USD.
 
Customs Fees for Canada:
 
Customs Fees may apply.  Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to import charges, duties, and/or taxes levied by the destination country's government, and are solely the responsibility of the recipient of goods.  Please contact the Canadian Customs office to ensure that you know what is required for you to comply with all laws and regulations of Canada.
 

Do you ship internationally? TOP

 
Currently I only ship within the United States and Canada.
 

Do you offer insurance on orders? TOP

 
Yes, the Standard Low Flat Rate shipping fee includes Delivery Confirmation and $100.00 USD in Insurance (required).  Additional insurance will be provided for orders over $100 USD.
 

What is your return policy? TOP

 
I want you to be happy with your jewelry.  Please read the descriptions of each item carefully, especially the dimensions.  I try to describe my pieces as accurately as possible.  Bear in mind that every computer monitor displays colors slightly differently.  Contact me before you order if you are unclear about a particular item.
 
If there is a problem with your order, I must be notified by email or phone within 3 business days of your receiving the order.  My email address is barbara@venusrisingdesigns.com and my phone number is 301-946-0108.  Please be specific about the problems when sending an email.  I will do my best to help you resolve the matter. 
 
If an item doesn't fit you, I can often resize it.  Depending on the item, there may be no charge at all or a nominal charge per inch.  This will vary according to what additional stones or findings are needed.  Having to restring a piece will cost more.  Shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation fees for shipping back to me is at your expense and is not refundable.
 
I do not accept returns on special custom orders.  All other items can be returned for a full refund of the purchase amount only and does not include monies paid for shipping, insurance or delivery confirmation. ***However, items must be returned within 10 business days of receipt in original condition and packaging, and with a copy of the invoice.*** 
 
Again, shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation fees for shipping back to me is at your expense and is not refundable.
 
I strongly recommend insurance and delivery confirmation on all returns.  I cannot be responsible for jewelry you ship back to me that is not delivered.
 

Do you take custom orders? TOP

 
Yes.  Send an email to me, explaining what you wish for with as much detail as possible.  If I cannot make exactly what you ask for, I may be able to come up with alternative materials.
