About the Artist
I have loved jewelry since I was a very little girl. The first piece I ever owned was a pearl baby necklace that my grandmother gave me. I often reorganized my mother's jewelry box just so that I could look at and play with the jewelry. The dazzling colors, the shapes, the sparkles! I was utterly mesmerized.
Several years ago my dear friend, Mike, worked as a county coordinator for people with AIDS. One man, Jimmy, was a fine artist, and gave Mike a box of beads. While playing with and admiring the beads, something awakened inside me. I just had to learn how to make jewelry. Jimmy's gift has inspired great joy for me in creating my pieces and in those who wear them.
The fantastic beads, crystals and metals I use have a mystical power to me. I make my pieces with loving care and attention to detail, and with the hope that you will feel beautiful and magically energized when you wear them.
